Sometimes my color scale in clothing moves within neutral tones.
Sometimes there is nothing neutral in my clothing.

The tights got a brutal taste of a fork, but the jeans were like that when I bought them. Somehow I end up wearing leggings very often, though.

How intriguing would it be if I tried to create a pair of leggings with the same kind of hole-knit as in this sample? Very, if you ask me! I made this small piece during our knitting course.

I've heard someone say it's lame to take too many pictures of your own legs. This post is kind of about the legs. And I'd rather not take any duck face pictures of myself.

girly sporty

So I bought sneaker wedges... I have decided to love them, though these kind of shoes seem to divide opinions.

The shoes were on sale at Promod, and since they were the only sample pair in the whole store I could not leave them behind. They are comfortable and make me 185 cm tall. :)

Here are documented knitted scarves that I made during past semester. The mint green tube scarf in the first pic is knitted by hand and the others with a manually-used knitting machine. In the end there's also a hairband that I made as a small extra.

Anna Nygård asked me to model for the photoshoot of .VESKA bag. So nice! The shoot happens tomorrow and I'm very happy to be collaborating with Anna again. :) Lovely Johanna Karttunen is going to be responsible for the photography. Waiting for tomorrow!

every piece in the right place

It's nice to know that some things you decide to buy are not the same short-lived trash that is sold at most of the big chain stores. The accessories here are an example of fine craftsmanship - real leather, finishing made by hand, silver plating on the jewelry. I bought that ring already. And I love Indiska.

PRT - IND - ITA

I just can not resist circling around at any kind of flea market or second hand store. UFF is the place that ranks highest in my book since I go bananas with clothing inspiration every time I enter one of the stores. Today's mega gem was this fine vintage leather skirt made in Portugal.

Last weekend I spent time with friends in Tampere. I found the following items from local flea markets. The girly dress is some random label marked with a 'made in India' -tag and the leather sandals look promising because of the huge Italy labeling. And they feel good in use, too.

Bye bye money. But I'd say a school girl needs proper school girl's supplies.

inspiration at Gallerian

DEEN iT show at the International Cultural Centre Caisa

Tomorrow after work I'm heading to a fashion show where my friend Aaminah is going to be the head of design for her new scarf collection. And this is the second time already! Today there was also an article in Metro newspaper and I felt so proud!

Remember the DEEN iT purple logo? It's made by me. :) Next some pictures of the last year's show at Caisa. This time Aaminah (in the picture on right) will launch the collection by herself.

when it's cold

It's totally possible to wear shorts at winter if you just take good care of the rest of the leg. My dear knitted pattern leggings keep me warm out there - multiple layers underneath are needed if it gets really cold.

I had a simple look for New Year's Eve. Too bad the cool velvet texture of my leggings doesn't show in the picture. I bought my first sale item from my beloved Indiska and I think the dark blue color goes well with the shade of midnight.

Friday off

Yesterday I slept my head dizzy, washed the dishes, went to get some food, did the laundry, listened to music and polished my nails. What an exiting day indeed (I didn't have the enthusiasm to go to the student party that my boyfriend went).

I used H&M 'Moody model' underneath and Lumene 'Trouble maker' on top to make a metallic, edgy combination. I made the shiny fingertips with an eye on the approaching New Year's Eve. The deer ring is from Gina Tricot and the green stone ring is second hand.

I have kind of an obsession with salty liquorice and that one is the best you can get in my opinion!

sunshine on a rainy day

That's me enjoying the light glinting from puddles on the ground. It had been raining all day but then the clouds just faded away. And that comfy cardigan right there is one of my true favorites for these chilly days!

After about two weeks I will start a new job at Indiska and I'M LOVING IT ALREADY. Those adorable fashion photos... well I'm sure you can understand my enthusiasm! And Indiska is not only a store for beautiful clothing but also a great place to find the most interesting interior details and a lovely range of accessories.

I'm just so happy at the moment. :)
